- A man was extricated by the jaws of life and rope pulleyed up to an ambulance after flying off the I-105 Freeway Monday night
- The crash was reported around 11 PM involving a solo SUV that went through a guard rail and down an embankment before crashing into the river bottom.
- One male driver was trapped inside.
- Firefighters loaded an ambulance with extrication gear and descended the bike path to extricate the driver.
- The driver was loaded onto a backboard and pulled up to the ambulance by firefighters using a rope system
- The male was transported to a nearby trauma center in moderate condition
