Driver Perishes After Wrapping BMW Around Tree | Houston

03.31.21 | 2:27 AM | HOUSTON – HPD and HFD responded to reports of a crash with fire and extrication in the area of Richmond at Freshmeadows.

Arriving companies located a vehicle (BMW) split in half, wrapped around a tree with the tree and car on fire. Firefighters got the bulk of the fire out and located the driver, deceased, still inside the vehicle.

Initial, unconfirmed information is that the deceased may have been racing prior to the crash.
