Driver Miraculously Survives Getting Crushed by Semi | Upland
03.24.2022 | 10:30 PM | UPLAND – CHP officers were dispatched to reports of a vehicle vs Semi with people trapped.
Upon arriving on scene CHP officers found a single vehicle crushed and trapped under a semi with one occupant inside.
A request for a response for fire to respond for a possible extrication was dispatched.
When the fire department arrived on scene, they found that the victim had somehow self extricated with minor but unknown injuries.
An AMR ambulance was requested and the victim was transported.
CHP officers advised that the patient not only self extricated from the vehicle but also walked to the ambulance.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
