Driver Lucky To Be Alive After Box Truck Crash

DETAILS:
- On December 2nd, 2024, at 10:55 PM, CHP, Redlands FD, and AMR responded to a traffic collision on the Eastbound 210 Freeway to the Westbound 10 Transition.
- Redlands Fire arrived at the scene and located a large box truck that had crashed through the guardrail, continued about 100 yards, and landed in a waterfall-type area.
- It appeared that the driver was able to self-extricate himself from the vehicle despite the major damage.
- The driver had minor injuries and was able to walk to the stretcher and was transported to a local hospital for his injuries.
