Driver Killed, Kids Injured in High-Speed Crash

1. On May 24th, 2025, at 9:32 PM, CHP, Riverside Fire, and AMR responded to a traffic collision with extrication on the Southbound 215 Freeway, North of Columbia Avenue.
2. AMR arrived at the scene first and located one person trapped inside a red sedan, unconscious.
3. Another seven victims were initially reported from the overturned SUV.
4. Riverside Fire arrived at the scene and extricated the male victim.
5. All lanes of the 215 Southbound were closed while firefighters worked to free the driver.
6. A total of six victims were transported with varying injuries.
7. The driver of the red sedan was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
8. Of the six victims, three were children and were transported with unknown injuries.
9. According to a witness to the crash, the red sedan was traveling at 120 MPH and was possibly drunk.
10. No other information was provided at the scene.
