Driver Killed, Kids Injured in High-Speed Crash

- On May 24th, 2025, at 9:32 PM, CHP, Riverside Fire, and AMR responded to a traffic collision with extrication on the Southbound 215 Freeway, North of Columbia Avenue.
- AMR arrived at the scene first and located one person trapped inside a red sedan, unconscious.
- Another seven victims were initially reported from the overturned SUV.
- Riverside Fire arrived at the scene and extricated the male victim.
- All lanes of the 215 Southbound were closed while firefighters worked to free the driver.
- A total of six victims were transported with varying injuries.
- The driver of the red sedan was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
- Of the six victims, three were children and were transported with unknown injuries.
- According to a witness to the crash, the red sedan was traveling at 120 MPH and was possibly drunk.
