Driver Killed In Boyle Heights Car-To-Car Shooting

At approximately 9:45 p.m. on May 24, 2026, officers responded to reports of a car-to-car shooting in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles.

Investigators say gunfire erupted near 4th Street and Euclid Avenue involving suspects traveling in a truck that was last seen heading northbound on Evergreen Avenue.

The victim’s vehicle continued a short distance before coming to a stop near 4th Street and Mott Street.

Responding officers located the driver deceased inside the front seat of the vehicle.

Authorities recovered shell casings near 4th Street and Euclid Avenue as detectives processed multiple crime scenes connected to the shooting.

Several intersections, including 4th Street between Euclid and Evergreen, remained closed for the investigation.

No suspect information has been released at this time.
