Driver Killed, Car Obliterated After Border Patrol Pursuit | El Cajon

04.23.2022 | 3:00 PM | EL CAJON – U.S. Border Patrol Agents were in pursuit of the male driver of the white car. It’s believed the pursuit began in the eastern portion of the County, and went westbound on the I-8. The Agents lost sight of the vehicle at the 2nd Ave exit. The driver had taken the right shoulder at high speed, passing traffic. The driver lost control and went off the roadway and down the embankment. The car hit a tree and the car was crushed.
