Driver Killed After Lodging Car Under Semi Truck

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-17-23 | 4:00 a.m.
LOCATION: 210 W & Hubbard
CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. While CHP had the Westbound lanes of the 210 closed for a previous fatal crash, a driver struck the back of a stopped semi truck
2. The blue sedan became lodged under the trailer of the semi
3. The driver was trapped in the vehicle
4. LAFD Firefighters attempted to extract the driver of the sedan
5. Unfortunately the driver was declared deceased on scene by paramedics
6. CHP continues to have westbound lanes of the 210 closed and is diverting all traffic off at Maclay St
