Driver Killed After Hitting Semi & Crashing Into Tree | San Bernardino

11.05.2021 | 10:37 AM | SAN BERNARDINO – CHP, Loma Linda Fire, and AMR were dispatched to a reported traffic collision on the Westbound 10 Freeway, just West of Tippecanoe Ave. When first responders arrived at the scene, they located a sedan into a tree with major damage and a semi-truck off the side of the freeway. One victim was located inside the sedan in unknown condition. Firefighters worked to remove parts of the car to determine if the driver was deceased. Once firefighters gain access, the victim was declared deceased. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured. It’s unknown if the sedan was stopped in lanes or was disabled on the side of the freeway.
