Driver Killed After Hit & Run Crash

LOCATION: 6800 N Topanga Canyon Blvd
AREA/CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. LAFD responded to a two-car crash in the intersection of Topanga Canyon & Vanowen
2. It was advised that one vehicle fled the scene after the crash
3. Firefighters arrived and found a sedan wrapped around a light pole
4. Firefighters attempted life saving measures; however the driver was declared deceased at the scene
5. LAPD has the intersection closed while conducting their investigation
