Driver Killed After Crashing Into The Back Of A Semi Truck

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 03/31/23 1:18 A.M.
LOCATION: 3034 E Washington Blvd

DETAILS:

1. LAFD and LAPD responded to a reported traffic accident.
2. Units arrived to find a solo vehicle into the rear of a park semi-truck.
3. One person was able to get out of the vehicle by himself and was transported to a local hospital.
4. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters had to lift the trailer off the vehicle to get to the driver.
5. The driver was beyond medical aid and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
6. The driver of the Semi, who was sleeping in the cab, was not injured.
