Driver Impaled by Rod Iron Fence After High Speed Crash

DETAILS:

1. Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded to a single vehicle traffic collision.
2. When units arrived, they found one car that had hit and jumped a curb, sending it into a rod iron fence.
3. The driver of the car was impaled by a piece of the fence, in the shoulder.
4. Fire fighters had to cut the fence, leaving a piece in the shoulder for transport.
5. The cause of the crash is under investigation
