Driver Hits Pedestrian and Flees the Scene

LOCATION: 12038 Bissonnet St

DETAILS:

1. HPD VCD units are investigating a fatal hit-and-run auto vs pedestrian.
2. It was reported a 4 door sedan, possibly blue or black in color, was traveling westbound on Bissonnet St.
3. At the same time, an adult male Hispanic was attempting to cross the roadway heading northbound.
4. The vehicle struck the pedestrian and did not stop.
5. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
