Driver High on NOS Arrested After Attempting Fleeing From Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-13-24, 6:36 P.M.
LOCATION: S. EUCLID ST AND W. CRONE AVE
AREA/CITY: ANAHEIM
DETAILS:

  1. Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded to a traffic collision between two vehicles.
  2. When units arrived, they found a full-size utility van vs. an SUV.
  3. There were five occupants inside the SUV; 2 of them were injured and transported to a local area hospital, suffering from unknown injuries.
  4. The driver of the fled on foot into a neighborhood park, where he was pointed out by people in the park who seen him fleeing, he was taken into custody by Anaheim PD.
  5. He was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence.
  6. Police found a NOS (Nitrous Oxide) cylinder inside the vehicle
