Driver Flees After Striking & Killing Pedestrian

LOCATION: intersection of harbor and katella

DETAILS
- At or around 5pm Thursday night units from the Anaheim police department and Anaheim fire and rescue responded to reports of pedestrian down near the intersection of Convention Way and Harbor Boulevard.
- Arriving units found three people down in different locations.
- The first two patients were not seriously injured, refused treatment and were released at scene.
- Second patient suffered trauma injuries and was transported to UCI Medical Center in full cardiac arrest.
- There is no description of the suspect vehicle at this time, but there is significant front end damage.
- Katella avenue will be closed between harbor boulevard and convention way for the next few hours as APD detectives and Major Accident Investigation Team finish there investigation.
- The suspect may have side swiped an OCTA bus.
