Driver Flees After Striking & Killing Pedestrian

DETAILS:

1. Montebello PD got a call of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian
2. Units arrived at scene and reported a male in the middle of the street on Whittier Blvd unresponsive and PD started CPR and Requested Fire to the location
3. Fire arrived at scene and pronounced the victim DOA
4. The suspect took off from scene in a white vehicle going in a unknown location
5. Whittier Blvd between  Garfield ave an Concourse ave will be closed
