Driver Flees After Crashing into Parked Cars

According to Riverside PD, PIO Ryan Railsback, just after 2 a.m., officers with Riverside Police Department were dispatched to the 1400 block of Spruce St. regarding a vehicle that had crashed into multiple parked cars. Upon arrival, an officer attempted to detain the two occupants of the suspect vehicle, but both fled on foot. The officer was able to apprehend one of the individuals, who was later determined to be the passenger. The driver was not located. Additional officers arrived to assist with the traffic collision investigation. The detained male was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance before being booked into jail.  It appears that DUI was a factor, but the driver is at large, and they were unable to determine it.
