- Phoenix Fire responded to a motor vehicle accident with reports of entrapment on Baseline Road near South 36th Way Saturday morning around 1 AM.
- Firefighters arrived and located a silver Chrysler Neon that had collided with a tree.
- The vehicle was heavily damaged and the driver was trapped in the vehicle and unable to exit the car.
- Firefighters began extricating the driver from the car.
- Crews had to remove the driver side door to gain access to the driver.
- The driver was stabilized before being removed from the vehicle and was transported the male driver to a local area hospital with unknown injuries.
- Phoenix Police are investigating the crash to determine the cause.
