Driver Extricated After Car Hits Tree

11.09.2020 | 11:50 PM | CANYON COUNTRY – Officials responded to reports of a traffic collision with injuries. When units arrived on scene they found one vehicle wrapped around a tree with one person trapped. LACoFd worked for an extended amount of time to free the passenger from the vehicle. Hydraulic rescue tools, or “jaws of life”, and saws were used to pry the windshield and roof of the vehicle off. The passenger was finally extricated and transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The driver was able to self extricate, and he was also transported in unknown condition.
