Driver Ejected In Violent 215 Freeway Crash

At approximately 12:15 a.m. on May 10, 2026, emergency crews responded to a major traffic collision on the southbound 215 Freeway south of Baseline Road in San Bernardino.

Responding units located a heavily damaged sedan and discovered the driver had been ejected from the vehicle.

Officers rendered first aid until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local trauma center.

Witnesses reported the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed while weaving across lanes before swerving to avoid a semi-truck, losing control, and overturning multiple times.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

A SigAlert was issued as authorities worked the scene and investigated the collision.
