Driver Dead After Pick-Up Slams Into Semi Trailer

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 7-17-25 330AM
LOCATION:  Eastbound i10 just East of Waco offramp
AREA/CITY:  Houston
DETAILS:

1.  HPD and HFD responded to reports of an MVA
2. Arriving units located a pickup truck which slammed into the back of an 18 wheeler
3. driver of the pickup was pinned inside the pickup
4. Pickup driver pronounced deceased at scene by HFD
5. HPD VCD is en route to investigate
6. all Eastbound lanes of i10 will be closed for the duration of the investigation
