Driver Crashes Into Horse Before Slamming Into Pole In Houston

At approximately 10:55 p.m. on April 7, 2026, a vehicle crashed into a horse before slamming into a pole in the 18501 block of Aldine Westfield in Houston.

According to radio traffic, the driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated before being transported to a local hospital.

The horse was pronounced deceased at the scene. The incident remains under investigation, and official details have not yet been released.
