Downey: Thugs Tie Up Elderly Couple During Home Invasion

01.15.2019 | 2:00 AM | DOWNEY – An elderly couple was left tied up in their residence after a home invasion robbery, Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to a responded to reports of an elderly couple that had called their son to report they were tied up and being robbed inside their home in the 9600 block of Clancey Avenue around 2:00 AM.

Units responding to the scene surrounded the home before making entry and finding the elderly couple tied up.

The suspects had ransacked the couple’s home before fleeing.

No suspect description was immediately available.
