Double Homicide Under Investigation In Houston
Houston Police are investigating a double homicide after two people were found shot to death inside a southeast Houston home early Saturday morning.
At approximately 2:20 a.m. on July 12, 2026, Southeast Patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 12800 block of Glen Hollow Drive.
After entering the residence, officers discovered two victims—a man and a woman, both believed to be in their 20s or 30s—dead inside the home.
Crime Scene Unit detectives responded to process the residence, while investigators began collecting evidence and documenting the scene.
According to Houston Police, investigators do not believe the two victims shot each other. No weapons were found inside the home, leading detectives to believe a third person was responsible for the killings.
Surveillance cameras mounted around the residence are expected to play a key role in the investigation as detectives work to identify the suspect.
Police said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident that occurred inside the home, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The two victims were believed to be living at the residence. The homeowner, who also lives at the property, told investigators they did not know the victims’ identities.
No suspect description has been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
