Double Fatal Crash Investigation

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-8-24 / 8:19 pm
LOCATION: 5299 Galveston Rd
AREA/CITY: Houston
DETAILS:

1. It was reported a silver vehicle was attempting to make a left turn from Timber Creek Dr onto Galveston Rd.
2. At the same time a truck was traveling southbound on Galveston Rd and struck the silver vehicle.
3. Both vehicles came to a stop over 100 ft from the intersection.
4. There was two occupants in both vehicles, a driver and passenger.
5. The silver sedan occupants were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
6. The two occupants in the pickup truck are between the ages of 17-19 and were both transported by ambulance in unknown condition.
7. It’s unknown if speed was a factor, that will be part of the investigation.
