- On June 24, 2023, at about 2:38 AM, CHP, County Fire, and AMR responded to a traffic accident on the Southbound 215 Freeway, South of the 210 Freeway.
- CHP located a Jeep fully involved with fire and a person ejected from the Jeep.
- County Fire and AMR arrived and extinguished the fire, and evaluated the ejected person.
- After further investigation, two people were discovered in the Jeep deceased.
- The ejected party was transported with major injuries to a local hospital.
- One person was determined to be driving under the influence.
- All lanes of the Southbound 215 freeway are closed at this time.
