DETAILS:
- Orange City Fire Department and California Highway Patrol, Santa Ana responded to a reports of a dog on the freeway as well as a traffic collision.
- According to a witness, there was a dog running on the freeway and multiple cars were swerving to miss the dog, when at least two cars crashed, one overturned.
- The driver of the overturned car was able to self-extricate and suffered injuries but declined transport by AMR
- The dog exited the freeway and has not been located.
