Major crash between a dirt bike rider and another vehicle.

The rider collided with another vehicle, who was a HPD officer coming into work.

The officer was traveling northbound on South Post Oak and attempted to turn west onto West Airport. The dirt bike rider was heading southbound on South Post Oak when the collision occurred in the intersection.

The officer exited his vehicle, found the rider lying bushes and applied a tourniquet to the dirt bike rider’s leg.

The rider suffered injuries to his ankle and was transported to the hospital. He was conscious at the time of transport.
