Difficult Extrication in Major Injury Accident

LOCATION: NB I-15 S/O Aero Dr.

DETAILS:

 

1. The male driver told the CHP that he and his female passenger were arguing and it turned heated.
2. The next thing he knew was that they hit the right shoulder wall.
3. The vehicle flipped several times before landing on its wheels in the #4 lane.
4. Firefigthers had a difficult extricating the female from the wreckage.
5. The extrication took approx 20 minutes as the female was trapped.
6. Once out she was transported with major injuries to a local hospital.
7. The male was “Tested & Arrested” for DUI.
