Diamond Bar: Driver Dead After Crashing Down Embankment

12.27.2019 | 10:00 PM | DIAMOND BAR – A driver was dead after their vehicles crashed down an embankment, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle that had driven down an embankment near the southbound SR-57 Freeway just south of Brea Canyon Road around 10:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene had trouble located the vehicle at first but eventually found a car approximately 150 feet down an embankment.

The driver of the vehicle was located deceased at the scene.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash and the cause remains under investigation.
