Deputy Rushed to Hospital With Fentanyl Over Dose While Searching Vehicle | Los Angeles
07.21.2022 | 9:25 PM | EAST LA – A LA county sherrifs deputy was rushed to USC medical center due to an accidental fentanyl over dose due to exposure while searching a suspect vehicle.
Little is known about the incident however a vehicle with several suspects was being searched and shortly after, it was reported that the officer was overdosing.
CHP & PD quickly shut down west bound I-10 from Delmar to allow for quick emergency transport of the deputy to USC medical center.
It was reported that authorities immediately took into custody 3 suspects.
No further details are known at this time as the investigation continues.
