Deputy Killed By Hit And Run Driver | Houston

A sergeant with HCSO was on an extra job, doing traffic control for a convoy of oversized machinery when he was struck by a female driver. The deputy was off his motorcycle when he was directing traffic and struck by a female. The deputy was flown via lifeflight downtown, with CPR in progress. The female was located by deputies a short time later, and taken into custody. All southbound traffic was being diverted off the toll road while the investigation occurred.
