Deputies Chase Drunk Driver On Foot After Crash

DETAILS:
- A Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a white pickup truck after it collided with a vehicle and fled
- The vehicle yielded near an apartment complex and the driver footbailed
- The driver made it roughly 100 yards before being aprehended
- Fire and paramedics were requested to the scene to assess the driver for a complaint of pain
- The driver was arrested for DUI and several warrants in addition to fleeing from deputies
- Ventura County Sheriff is investigating the incident
