Deputies Chase Drunk Driver On Foot After Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 04-12-24 10:15pm
LOCATION: Conejo School Road and Los Feliz
AREA/CITY: Thousand Oaks
DETAILS:

1. A Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a white pickup truck after it collided with a vehicle and fled
2. The vehicle yielded near an apartment complex and the driver footbailed
3. The driver made it roughly 100 yards before being aprehended
4. Fire and paramedics were requested to the scene to assess the driver for a complaint of pain
5. The driver was arrested for DUI and several warrants in addition to fleeing from deputies
6. Ventura County Sheriff is investigating the incident
