Deadly Shooting After Altercation In Houston

At approximately 8:00 p.m. on April 13, 2026, officers responded to a shooting in the 5700 block of Gessner Road in Houston.

According to investigators, two men were involved in an altercation in a parking lot when one of them opened fire, striking the other.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities say the suspect, described as a male in his 20s, fled the area in a smaller red vehicle. Officers are continuing to search for the suspect.

Family members and friends gathered near the scene as officers secured the area. The investigation remains ongoing.
