Deadly Hit-and-Run Under Investigation

At approximately 3:46am on March 27th, 2026, Los Angeles Police Department officers and Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near Vermont Avenue and Leeward Avenue in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles.

Upon arrival, responders located an adult male who had been struck by a vehicle. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities reported the suspect vehicle, described as a possible white Dodge Charger, fled northbound on Vermont Avenue following the collision.

A crime scene was established as investigators worked to gather evidence and locate the suspect vehicle.

The investigation remained ongoing.
