Cypress: Garage Fire Displaces Nine Residents

08.19.2020 | 12:25 AM | CYPRESS, TEXAS – Nine people were displaced from their home after a garage fire broke out, early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a fire at a home in the 20200 block of Pioneer Ridge Drive around 12:25 AM.

Crews arriving on scene located a single-story home with heavy fire showing from the garage.

Firefighters quickly doused the blaze and evacuated the home.

No injuries were reported but all nine residents of the home were displaced as a result.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
