DETAILS:

1. Dash Cam Video submitted by Dustin L shows the moments a cyclist collided with a Carlsbad PD Motorcycle unit
2. the officer appeared to have been in the process of towing a vehicle at the time of the crash.
3. The crash was reported along La Costa Ave near Saxony Rd around 4:18 pm.
4. Firefighters responded to the accident but it is unknown at this time if the cyclist was transported.
