Cyber Truck Rescued Out of Snow
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1:26 | 2:32 PM
LOCATION: San Bernardino Mountains
AREA/CITY: San Bernardino Mountains
DETAILS:
- The first full day of the snowstorm brought a slew of vehicle spin-outs, stuck cars, and traffic collisions on the slick roads.
- After a strong start to the storm, the weather continued its on and off again, with heavy bursts of snowfall.
- The fresh snow has brought thousands of visitors to the mountain, who continue to try to drive up here in 2-wheeled vehicles and refuse to adhere to the strict chain restrictions.
- The result is people getting stuck in the middle of the roads and highways and opting to put chains on while blocking heavy traffic.
- At 2:30 PM, a large and populated chain control checkpoint is set up at Heaps Peak and Highway 18.
- The Chain restrictions are currently set at R2 Control, which requires all vehicles to chain up, except for 4WD and AWD vehicles with snow tires.
- More Video coming soon.
- A CYBER TRUCK was stuck in Daly Canyon and was towed by a pickup truck that did not appear mechanically capable of such a job.
