10.23.2021 | 10:56 AM | SAN DIEGO – A SDPD Sgt was driving down Main St when he witness the male suspect throw a fire extinguisher at another male. He stopped and the suspect became aggressive to the Sgt. More officers arrived and the suspect started throwing items at the officers. As the officers moved in on the suspect, he ran and got into an RV that was parked in front of a Tire store. He started to break out the windows of the RV and scream profanities at the officers. At one point, the officers saw the man start a fire inside of the RV, and smoke started to appear from the windows. The man came out of the RV, and again threaten the officers with a metal pole. The male was shot with a bean bag gun and he went down. The male was taken into custody and the RV became fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters arrived, but the RV was destroyed. The man was arrested for assaulting the business owner of the Tire shop, assaulting the officers, and arson of the RV. This started as the man was living inside of his RV outside of the Tire shop for at least one week and was causing problems with the customers and others and trashing the surrounding area. The business owner demanded that the suspect leave and that was the trigger for the suspects’ attacks. For licensing, contact info@onscene.tv Follow our other platforms!
