Crazed Pedestrian Attacks Good Samaritan On Freeway

Around 12:15pm, a pedestrian started walking on the freeway and started blocking the flow of traffic by walking down the middle of the third lane. One of the drivers on the freeway got out, spoke with the male pedestrian, and was able to walk him out of the lanes to the right shoulder. All of a sudden, the male suspect attacked the good Samaritan and both went to the ground. The good Samaritan was able to pin the suspect until CHP arrived and he was taken into custody. An ambulance was requested and the suspect will be transported for a mental health evaluation.
