Crazed Arsonist Arrested In San Diego

Around 12:45pm, fire alarms started sounding at an apartment complex, at 1475 Imperial Avenue, and smoke began pouring out of a third story room. San Diego Fire-Rescue responded and when they tried to make entry, the residence inside refused to come out. Firefighters forced entry by breaking open the front door, and found a naked male inside with a rubbish fire burning. The fire was quickly doused and the male was taken into custody by San Diego Police. The suspect was not wearing any clothes at the time of his arrest and officers put a paper coverall suit on him, before transporting him to the County Mental Health Facility. There was only moderate damage to the room and MAST has been requested to investigate.
