Couple Road Raging Crashes into Multiple Cars and Critically Injuring Pedestrian

At approximately 5:56 PM on August 24, 2025, deputies responded to a chaotic road-rage incident near Calle Jules and Via Felicidad in Vista.

According to investigators, a domestic violence–related confrontation escalated when the driver of a Toyota Sequoia, identified as 41-year-old Lindsey Bigbey, repeatedly rammed a black Jeep Cherokee driven by 42-year-old Nathan Robson. During the pursuit through a residential neighborhood, Bigbey struck a male pedestrian in his 20s, leaving him with major injuries. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

The chase continued to Anza Avenue, where Bigbey crashed into multiple vehicles and disabled her SUV. She fled on foot and entered Robson’s Jeep, and together they fled the scene. The crash also damaged a nearby power box, causing outages in the area.

On August 27, 2025, deputies arrested both Bigbey and Robson in the 2600 block of East Mission Bay Drive in San Diego. They were booked into the Vista Detention Facility on multiple felony charges, including hit-and-run, assault with a deadly weapon, and aiding and abetting.

The Vista Sheriff’s Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation.
