Costa Mesa: Driver Strikes Two Pedestrians, Killing One In Home Depot Parking Lot

06.23.2020 | 11:50 AM | COSTA MESA – A driver struck two pedestrians, killing one, in a Home Depot parking lot, Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the Home Depot parking lot located in the 2300 block of Harbor Boulevard around 11:50 AM.

Units arriving on scene located two pedestrians on the ground after being struck by a pickup truck in front of the Home Depot.

Firefighter paramedics treated and transported both victims to an area hospital.

One of the men succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The condition of the second man was not immediately known.

The driver of the pickup truck that struck the pedestrians remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
