Coroner Called After Hazmat Response At Huntington Beach Home

At approximately 9:48 p.m. on April 27, 2026, emergency crews responded to a reported medical emergency at a residence on Delaware Street in Huntington Beach.

Upon arrival, personnel identified a potential hazardous materials situation and evacuated the home as a precaution.

Additional hazmat teams responded to assist, and a specialized entry team later entered the residence to assess the situation.

A coroner was requested to the scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident have not been released.

The investigation remains ongoing.
