Corona: Police Search For Burglary Suspects After Officer-Involved Shooting

02.22.2020 | 8:00 PM | CORONA – Police are searching for two burglary suspects who fled on foot prompting an officer-involved shooting, Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a burglary in progress at a home in the 1800 block of Fir Street around 8:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene attempted to contact two suspects who fled on foot.

A foot pursuit ensured and an officer-involved shooting occurred but it was unclear if anyone was struck.

Both suspects managed to get away after an hours long search.

No suspect description or additional information was immediately available.
