At approximately 1:33 AM on August 1, 2025, a Seattle police cruiser running with lights and sirens ran a red light southbound on 5th Avenue at Seneca Street and collided with a minivan that had the right of way.
The impact occurred in the intersection as the minivan was traveling through on a green light. Surveillance footage from nearby cameras at Seneca and 6th captured the incident.
