Compton: Two Men Arrested After Robbing Marijuana Dispensary

09.22.2019 | 8:45 PM | COMPTON – Two men were in custody after allegedly robbing a marijuana dispensary and assaulting a customer, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a robbery at a marijuana dispensary located in the 800 block of East Compton Boulevard around 8:45 PM.

Units arriving on scene learned that up to five suspects entered the dispensary armed with unknown weapons and assaulted a customer while robbing the business.

The suspects fled the scene but deputies quickly apprehended two of the men who were booked on suspicion of armed robbery.

The customer who was assaulted suffered only minor injuries and refused transport.

Deputies reported that the marijuana dispensary was permitted and operating legally.
