Compton: Shooting Leaves One Dead

11.02.2018 | 6:30 PM | COMPTON – A man was dead after a shooting in Compton, Friday evening.

Sheriff’s officials responded along with the Compton Fire Department to reports of a man down near the intersection of Figueroa Boulevard and Redondo Beach Boulevard.

Units arriving on scene discovered the man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Firefighter paramedics evaluated the victim and determined he was deceased on scene.

No suspect description was immediately available.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Division is investigating.
