Compton: Pedestrian Struck & Killed By SUV

01.02.2020 | 2:06 AM | COMPTON – A pedestrian was dead after being struck by an SUV, early Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 200 block of West Artesia Boulevard around 2:06 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a pedestrian down and a dark color Ford SUV with damage stopped nearby.

Firefighter paramedics arriving on scene pronounced the pedestrian deceased on scene.

The driver of the Ford was uninjured and remained on scene to cooperate with law enforcement.

The circumstances surrounding the tragic crash remain under investigation.
